The Agency for the support of Small and Medium size Enterprises within MTI - Ministry of Trade and Industry is publishing and maintaining this Catalogue of Competencies (“Catalogue”) of Kosova Institutions to enhance the cooperation, collaboration and transfer of their expertise, knowledge, technology and know how to Small and Medium Enterprises ("SMEs"). Competencies in a Catalogue are grouped per Economic activity as per Statistical classification of economic activites in the European Community as they are listed in NACE Code Rev.2.

Catalogue content and maintenance

The SME Agency Catalogue of Competencies is the organization's official list of Kosova Institutions competencies compiled by the Agency in order to attain its objectives and to deliver service to Kosova SMEs development. The Catalogue is developed and is maintained by the SME Agency in partnership with the IPAK–Investment Promotion Agency. Input is provided from the Competency Monitoring Working Group (CMWG), Business Associations, Trade Unions and competency consultants from across the organization.

Competence definition        

“Competence” it is the ability to perform the activities based on the required standards, with the use of appropriate practical and theoretical knowledge, creative and practical skills.
